Dave Malins is an experienced engineering manager currently leading a team at Modulr since July 2022. Previously, Dave served as CTO at ADSR Ltd from August 2019 to July 2022, focusing on the development of audio plugins and machine learning solutions. As Technical Director at Kin + Carta from January 2013 to August 2019, Dave led cross-disciplinary software engineering teams on cloud-based projects for various brands across the UK, Europe, and the US. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director at Gecko (March 2008 - December 2012), where hands-on engineering and architecture were crucial, and as Senior Developer at Storm ID (January 2001 - March 2008), where foundational CMS solutions were implemented as the agency's first employee. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in IT & Multimedia Technologies from Paisley University, completed in 1998.
