Chris Patterson has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of facilities and engineering. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Cleanrooms at Modular Devices - Mobile Cleanrooms. Prior to this, they were the Owner and Managing Director at Beacon Project Solutions. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as the Sr. Director of Facilities and Engineering at Rubius Therapeutics. Before that, they held the position of Director of Facility Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2016 to 2018. Chris also has experience as the Principal at CPM Facilities Services, LLC from 2014 to 2016. Their previous roles include Senior Director and Associate Director of Facilities & Engineering at Genzyme, Manager of Facilities & Engineering at Stryker Biotech, and Manager of Utility Operations and Infrastructure at Amgen. Chris began their career as an Equipment Engineer at Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation after serving as a Nuclear Operator in the US Navy.

Chris Patterson attended East Carolina University, where they did not earn a degree. After that, they enrolled in Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC), studying Nuclear Engineering.
