Shawn Jansepar is an accomplished engineering and product leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Khan Academy, focusing on the Learning & AI Platform and establishing a partnership with Microsoft to provide Khanmigo to US educators. With a robust background in managing engineering teams, Shawn has led various initiatives that modernized mobile applications and increased user engagement across platforms. In addition to the role at Khan Academy, Shawn holds a board position at Modo, advocating for affordable and convenient transportation solutions, and previously served on the advisory council for Ethį»Ģs Lab. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Mobify, where architecture and leadership led to award-winning e-commerce solutions, as well as positions at Electronic Arts and Simon Fraser University that spanned teaching, software engineering, and technical support. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and completed an international exchange program at Charles University.
