Jenna Morris-Love, PhD, currently works as a Scientist in Virology and Infectious Diseases Research at Moderna, focusing on advancing vaccine candidates through preclinical research since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jenna served as a Graduate Student at Brown University, where research concentrated on the role of extracellular vesicles in JC polyomavirus infection. Technical expertise includes a range of virology and molecular techniques, such as cell culture, infection assays, molecular cloning, and advanced microscopy methods. As a leader and mentor, Jenna organized events, coordinated seminars, and contributed to graduate program development, while also serving as a Teaching Assistant and Supplemental Teaching Assistant for various biology courses. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pathobiology from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut. Previous research experience includes work at Harvard Medical School, investigating Herpes Simplex Virus 1 under Dr. Don Coen.
