Sıla Kumbasar, CPPM, currently serves as Purchasing Director at Modern Karton since December 2023. Prior to this role, Sıla held the position of Foreign Purchasing Manager at Likit Kimya for a brief period, overseeing bulk liquid chemical purchases. From October 2022 to September 2023, Sıla worked as Procurement Manager for Dunapack Packaging within the Austrian Prinzhorn Group, managing procurement processes for four corrugator plants in Turkey and initiating external manufacturing for corrugated cardboard. Sıla's earlier experience includes a long tenure as Purchasing Manager at Pulver Kimya, where raw materials for powder coating were purchased, along with initiating inventory management improvements. Additionally, an early career role as Import & Purchasing Professional at Elastron Kimya involved managing raw material imports for thermoplastic elastomers. Sıla holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, completed between 2004 and 2012.
