Abhijit Deokar has extensive experience in materials engineering, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Modern Industries Inc. since November 2010, where responsibilities include troubleshooting engineering problems and managing product testing projects for the Aerospace and Automotive Industries. Prior experience at Modern Industries Inc. as a Materials Engineer involved conducting failure/root cause analysis and material tests. Abhijit held the position of Research Assistant at Wayne State University from January 2008 to May 2010, conducting research and performing various analyses to support thesis requirements. Earlier in the career, Abhijit worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys, focusing on database maintenance for health insurance companies and managing employee training sessions. Educational qualifications include an MS in Materials Engineering from Wayne State University and a B.Tech in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
