Vikram Ramanarayanan is an accomplished academic and industry professional currently serving as an Associate Adjunct Professor and Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, since September 2017. In addition, Vikram holds the position of Chief Science Officer at Modality.AI, focusing on secure remote patient assessment and monitoring solutions. Since January 2023, Vikram has also been a Senior Principal Research Scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior experience includes various roles at ETS from September 2014 to August 2021 and a Graduate Research Assistant position at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering from January 2008 to August 2014. Educational qualifications include an MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Linguistics from the University of Southern California, complemented by a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Further studies were undertaken at The Wharton School from 2020 to 2022.
