Pini Segal has been vice president of human resources and finance during his entire 13-year tenure at Mobileye, although the role has evolved as the company has grown. He played an important role during Intel’s acquisition of Mobileye in 2017, which he says was by far the most interesting and challenging project of his career.
Segal joined Mobileye after a long career in the public and private sectors. For part of that time he worked in the manufacturing of optics and electronics. He also worked as the treasurer of Or Shalom, an organization for at-risk youth in Israel. In addition to his career, he spent 17 years as the general manager and member of Kibbutz Eyal. This experience helped him develop the skills of supervising others and working well in teams. He was drafted into the Israeli Army in 1973 and served during the Yom Kippur War.
Segal received both his bachelor’s degree (economics and management) and master’s degree (finance and information systems) from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is a super fan of Liverpool soccer and is delighted to be a new grandfather.
