Katie Bowers, LCPC, has extensive experience in the field of counseling, currently serving as the Clinic Manager of Counseling Services and Child and Family Therapist at Mobile Therapy Centers since September 2014. Katie has also been a Counselor at Stable Strides since December 2009, where contributions include the implementation and development of therapy programs utilizing human-horse interaction. Previous roles include Counselor at United Stand Family Center, providing services to students in the greater Chicago area, and a paraprofessional in a special education kindergarten class at Woodland School District 50. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School (2006-2008) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carthage College (2001-2005).
