Thu Nguyen is an experienced professional in gardening and education, currently serving as an Aquaponics & Hydroponics Greenhouse Assistant at Mobile Loaves & Fishes since July 2021, where responsibilities include planning and coordinating growing systems and leading volunteers. Prior experience includes a role as a Garden Science Educator with 4-H CAPITAL, where lesson plans were developed for elementary students and multiple school gardens were managed. Thu also contributed creatively as a Keyholder at Paper Source, leading hand-lettering workshops, and served as a Food and Leadership Fellow at Urban Roots, overseeing volunteer groups in agricultural tasks. Additional experience includes an Illustration Intern position at The Austin Common and serving as a Peer Mentor at The University of Texas at Austin, where support was provided to freshmen students. Thu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.
