Jim Dumler has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jim currently serves as an Independent Board Director at Moatable, a SAAS company serving the trucking industry and commercial residential real estate market. Prior to this, they were an Executive Consultant and Board Director at The Sinclair Group and Capture Ventures, where they provided consulting services and served as board director for multiple companies. Jim also has experience as a Board Member at FJ Management, a private holding company, where they served on various committees. Jim held a senior leadership position at CenterPoint Energy Corporation as the SVP of Strategy & Business Development. Additionally, Jim has experience in private investment partnerships, strategic investments, and finance roles at Carney-Dumler Partners, Republic Financial Corporation, and The Broe Companies. Jim began their career at Koch Industries, Inc., where they held various senior management positions. Jim's experience spans industries such as energy, finance, real estate, and manufacturing.

Jim Dumler has an impressive education history. In 1987 to 1989, they attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, where they obtained an MBA with the highest honors (Fuqua Scholar) in Finance, Strategy, and Marketing. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1984, they completed a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Their undergraduate education includes a BA in Chemistry from Colorado College, where they attended from 1978 to 1982.

Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications including "Developing Executive Presence" from LinkedIn in 2018, "NACD Leadership Fellow" from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in 2014, and a "Series-3 Certification" from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in April 2006.
