Jose Maria Elorza Barreda has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jose Maria is currently serving as the CFO & CoFounder at MOA foodtech, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, they were the sole Administrator and Company Director of Esba Participadas SL, a startup holding company involved in real estate, construction, agriculture, and hospitality. Jose Maria has also worked as the sole Administrator and Company Director at EBINVEST INMOBILIARIO SL.

In addition, Jose has experience working in a family office, where they were involved in the daily management of various companies and investments in real estate, hotels, agriculture, and event organization. Jose Maria has also founded and managed their own company, MOCAMO, an e-commerce business specializing in decoration products.

Before these roles, Jose worked at BBVA, where they held multiple positions in corporate development, strategy and M&A, and internal audit for the Americas. Jose Maria was responsible for executing M&A processes, managing BBVA's equity holdings in industrial companies and investment funds, and conducting financial audits and consultancy projects in BBVA's South American companies.

Furthermore, Jose has served as a Manager and Mentor at Momentum Social Investment, and as a Professor of Masterclass Perspectiva de Empresa at IED Madrid. Jose Maria started their career as a Financial Analyst at Altium Capital, a investment banking firm, where they contributed to identifying business opportunities, conducted financial and sector analysis, and participated in the valuation and structuring of transactions.

Jose Maria Elorza Barreda has also gained experience in the legal field through an internship at Legal mavens S.L., where they worked in the tax advisory department.

Jose Maria Elorza Barreda attended CUNEF from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Licenciatura degree in Finanzas y Derecho. In 2019 to 2020, they furthered their education at ISDI, earning a Master's in Internet Business with a focus on Transformacion digital de empresas. Jose Maria also completed their Licenciado degree in Administración de Empresas y Derecho, specializing in Contabilidad y finanzas, at CUNEF from 2005 to 2011.
