Ujjaini Sengupta's work experience includes a role as a Scientist at MoA Technology, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Intern at Wildroots India - A Society for Environmental Education, Bio-Diversity Awareness & Conservation, from May 2020 to July 2020.

Ujjaini Sengupta obtained a postgraduate degree in Plant Science and Biotechnology from the University of Leeds starting in 2021 and completing in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Plant Sciences at Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru from 2019 to 2021. Ujjaini'sbachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology was earned from the University of Calcutta between 2016 and 2019. Before entering university, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for two years from 2014 to 2016. Ujjaini'ssecondary education took place at St. Xavier's High School in India prior to that, before completing their studies there in 2014.
