Ian Carter is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at mmob since October 2022 and as Founder of AELI Consulting Limited since November 2021, where the firm provides strategic advice at the intersection of technology and finance. Prior to these roles, Ian held various positions at The SW7 Group and spent nearly a decade at HSBC Commercial Banking in leadership roles, including Country Head of Client Coverage and Head of Business Development for Global Trade and Receivables Finance. Ian began the career as a Structural Designer and Graduate Engineer at Buro Happold. Ian holds a Diploma in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and a Master's degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering from the University of Bath.
