Päivi Suutari has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Päivi is currently the Managing Director at Mayr-Melnhof Kotkamills since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President, Research, Development and Innovation at the same company from May 2020 to October 2021. Before joining Mayr-Melnhof Kotkamills, Päivi was the General Manager of Foodservice South East Asia at Huhtamaki OYJ (HUKI) from April 2017 to June 2019. Päivi also held the position of General Manager, Foodservice Nordic Oy from December 2014 to March 2017, and General Manager Finland from April 2013 to November 2014 at Huhtamaki OYJ. From 2008 to 2013, Päivi worked at Stora Enso, where they held several leadership roles including Director, Corrugated Packaging Finland and Baltics, VP Corrugated Packaging Finland, Managing Director, and Head of Technology & Incubation. Prior to their time at Stora Enso, they were the Vice President of Business Excellence at Stora Enso Oyj from 2002 to 2007. Overall, Päivi Suutari has a strong background in management and innovation within the packaging industry.

From 1982 to 1986, Päivi Suutari attended LUT University, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry.
