Ruby Sinclair has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ruby began their career as a Teacher at the Northwest School Division from August 2007 to June 2010. Ruby then transitioned into the legal field, starting as a Student at Law at Legal Aid Saskatchewan from June 2013 to May 2014. Following this, they worked as a Lawyer at Sunchild Law from June 2014 to May 2017. Ruby also served as a Board Member at First Nations University of Canada from June 2017 to March 2020. In 2018, they joined Flying Dust First Nation as their In-House Counsel, and as of 2019, they became a Director at MLTC Industrial Investments LP. Most recently, in April 2022, they took on the role of Director at Beaver River Development Corporation.

Ruby Sinclair attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2002 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in Kinesiology and Home Economics. Ruby then pursued further education at the same university from 2010 to 2013 and completed a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
