James Lamb is a Senior Software Engineer at NVIDIA since December 2023, focusing on infrastructure, build, and packaging for RAPIDS. As a co-organizer of the Chicago chapter of the MLOps Community since August 2022, James promotes best practices in machine learning operations. Since January 2017, James has been an Adjunct Instructor at Marquette University, teaching a course on R Programming for graduate students. Previously, James held various engineering and data science roles at companies including SpotHero, Saturn Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Uptake, contributing expertise in machine learning, data processing, and cloud solutions. James holds a Master’s Degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley School of Information and multiple qualifications in data science and economics from prestigious institutions.
