Tim Jansens is an experienced project leader and manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering and maritime operations. Currently serving as Projectleider at M.J. van Riel B.V. since January 2022, Tim specializes in project guidance within rail infrastructure and energy innovation. Previously, Tim held multiple positions at Heesen Yachts, including Project Manager Mechanical Production, where responsibilities encompassed the production of propulsion and technical systems for yachts. Tim's extensive maritime experience includes serving as Chief Officer at Jumbo The Maritime Heavy Lift Company, overseeing safe navigation and cargo operations, and previous roles as 2nd Officer and 3rd Officer. Tim holds a bachelor's degree in maritime operations from HZ University of Applied Sciences and a HAVO diploma with a focus on Nature and Technology from Strabrecht College.
