Lance Taylor, E.I.T. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Lance is currently employed as a Project Engineer at M&J Engineering, P.C. since August 2022. Prior to this, Lance worked at Froehling & Robertson, Inc. where they held multiple roles, including Staff Engineer from June 2017 to August 2022, and Construction Materials Field Technician from December 2016 to June 2017.
Lance has also ventured into the culinary field, working as an Executive Chef at Finnegan's Marin from February 2006 to February 2010, where they were responsible for establishing a new restaurant, managing kitchen operations, hiring staff, and overseeing menu preparation and execution. Before that, Lance served as a Chef de Cuisine at Delicious, Inc. from August 2005 to January 2006, and held the position of AM Sous Chef and Chef Tournant at Boar's Head Inn from June 2001 to July 2005.
Lance Taylor, E.I.T. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned three Associate's degrees, one in Engineering, one in Natural Sciences, and one in Mathematics, all with a focus on Civil Engineering.
In terms of certifications, Lance Taylor has obtained several, including OSHA 30 Hour Construction from OSHA-Training.com in June 2022, ACI Field Technician I from the American Concrete Institute in 2017, and Engineer in Training from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in 2017. Lance also holds certifications in Troxler Nuclear Field Density Testing and Radiation Safety from Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc., and Microsoft Office from Microsoft, which they obtained in May 2014.
