Ellie Trebino has a diverse work experience. Ellie began their career in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant and Marketing Intern at DPR Construction. In 2015, they were a Marketing Intern at University Graphic Systems and a Marketing Intern at Adverb Marketing Group. Ellie also worked as an Event Staff at California Polytechnic State University and as a Vice President of Communications at Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity. In 2016, they were a Graphic Design Intern at Konigmedia, an Event Staff at The California Mid-State Fair, and a Marketing Production Specialist at Cal Poly Corporation. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have held various roles at Mixbook, including Design Manager, Design and Production Lead, Graphic Designer, Production Designer, Jr. Production Designer, and Production Design Intern.

Ellie Trebino obtained their Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2017. Ellie also attended Imperial College London in 2015. In 2021, they earned a certification in Cultivating Creative Collaboration from IDEO U.
