Pu (Perry) Wang is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at MERL since April 2016, specializing in radar perception with notable contributions in model-based object detection, tracking, and deep learning. Key achievements include leading projects such as TempoRadar, SIRA, and HTG-EOT, with accolades like the Best Student Paper Finalist at IEEE SAM 2020. Prior to MERL, Wang served as a Research Scientist at Schlumberger-Doll Research from October 2012 to April 2016, focusing on innovative acoustic dipole shear anisotropy logging, earning recognition as a SPWLA Distinguished Speaker and receiving the Conrad Schlumberger Award. Wang's earlier experience includes a summer internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories in 2010. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, obtained in 2011.
