Maheshkumar Patil is a result-oriented professional with over 15 years of experience in quality management and research and development within the polymer and plastics industry. Currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers since June 2019, Maheshkumar previously held the position of Manager Quality at Welset Plast Extrusions Pvt Ltd for 11 years, where responsibilities included managing the complete Quality function for polymer compounding and color masterbatch manufacturing, as well as being integral to new product development. Additional roles at Welset included Quality In Charge and Quality Engineer, focusing on the development of quality programs and compliance with ISO standards. Maheshkumar holds a PGDBA in Operation Management from Welingkar Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, along with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Asian Institute of Quality Management.
