Maria Natale Beem is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in enterprise engineering and software application development. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Acting Department Head at The MITRE Corporation since October 2006, Maria has also held the position of Lead Software Application Development Engineer. Prior to joining The MITRE Corporation, Maria worked at JDA Software Inc. as a Senior Software Architect and at JDA Software (formerly Manugistics) in the role of Senior Developer/Analyst. Maria's career began at Manugistics, where a significant tenure included the position of Senior Manager in Enterprise Applications. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, earned between 1987 and 1992.
