Gurbinder Kaur, PhD, is a Senior R & D Engineer at Mitra Chem since September 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Research Scientist at Simon Fraser University from September 2020 to September 2022, where research focused on electrochemical performance of various clean energy materials and troubleshooting battery cyclers. From May 2014 to April 2019, Gurbinder Kaur served as a Senior Research Scientist at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, leading a project on sol-gel synthesized bio-glasses and hydroxyapatite for tissue regeneration, while also characterizing materials using advanced techniques such as high-resolution XRD and BET analysis. Educational credentials include a PhD in Materials Science from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and a postdoctoral fellowship at Virginia Tech.
