Mari-Liis Lind has a long and varied work experience. Mari-Liis began their career in 2009 as a Business Development Manager at Aus Design, a sustainable fashion brand. In 2012, they became an advisor for Garage48 Foundation, an active player in the startup community in Estonia and Northern Europe. Mari-Liis also co-founded Tech Sisters, a non-profit organization with a goal to get more women excited about technology and IT, and served as an advisor for Stella Soomlais Studio. In 2013, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors for e-Estonia Showroom and Design Manager/Business Developer for Velvet Creative Alliance. In 2015, they became Head of Data Product for Funderbeam, a global startup stock exchange built on blockchain. In 2017, they were Head of Tallinn Digital Summit and Advisor to Government Office of Estonia. In 2018, they co-founded VIVITA Creativity Accelerator for Kids and became Co-Founder & CEO of VIVITA International and VIVITA Estonia. Mari-Liis also became a co-founder of VIVITA Creativity Accelerator, an Mistletoe arm for future founders.
Mari-Liis Lind obtained their secondary education from Tallinna Reaalkool in 1995-1998. Mari-Liis then went on to pursue their BSc in Law from the University of Tartu from 1998-2007. In 2010, they obtained their BS in International Studies from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology. In 2017, they completed a Management Programme from The Swedish Institute (SI) in Sustainable Business and Responsible Leadership. In 2018-2019, they obtained a Master's degree in Digital Management from Hyper Island and a Master of Arts - MA in Digital Management from Teesside University. Additionally, they have a certification in Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.
