Chris Maiura has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Assistant Technology Officer - Infrastructure and previously as a Senior IT Security Specialist at the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System since May 2019. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring information systems security policies, implementing security controls, and managing security architecture. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions at the Missouri Office of State Courts Administrator from March 1998 to May 2019, including Supervisor of Server Administration and Enterprise Deployment, where management of a team of Systems Administrators was key, along with project management and staff development. Chris also has a strong technical background, demonstrated through roles as a Senior System Administrator and System Administrator. An academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
