Lydia Jasper

Assistant Curator of the Permanent Collection at Mississippi Museum of Art

Lydia Jasper is an accomplished art professional currently serving as the Assistant Curator of the Permanent Collection and formerly as a Curatorial Assistant at the Mississippi Museum of Art since June 2021. Previous experience includes a Contemporary Art Curatorial Internship at The Baltimore Museum of Art, where research led to the development of an extensive bibliography and database for a publication related to the Great Migration. Lydia also held positions as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Miami University College of Creative Arts and a Curatorial Intern at Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum, where significant contributions were made to exhibition proposals and content development. Lydia Jasper holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art and Architecture History and Music from Miami University, completed in 2020.
