Instumentation And Development Engineer at Mission Zero

Oran Deutsch has four years of work experience. In 2018, they were a Rehabilitation Robotics Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds. In 2020, they were a Mechatronics Design Engineer at STFC, where they were responsible for developing instrumentation for use at the ISIS Neutron and Muon source, and for testing and verifying existing designs. In 2021, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at TruLife Optics, designing and manufacturing optomechanical components and alignment solutions for complex optical setups. Currently, they are a Mechatronics Research and Development Engineer at Mission Zero Technologies, where they design custom testing hardware, electrical control panels, and cloud-based experimental dashboards for the rapid development of their direct air CO2 capture technology.

Oran Deutsch studied at Kendal College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Level 3 Engineering Btec Extended Diploma and A-Level in Maths. Oran then went on to pursue a Mechatronics and Robotics BEng Meng(Hons) at the University of Leeds from 2016 to 2020. Their field of study was Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
