Fernando Gomez-Benitez is an experienced health care professional currently serving as the Deputy Director and Chief Administrative Officer at the Mission Neighborhood Health Center since April 2001, where responsibilities include federal grant submissions and oversight of HIV, Homeless, and Medical Assistance Programs. Previously, Fernando held the position of HIV Services Director, managing clinical operations and leading a team of 25 employees. Earlier in the career, Fernando worked as a Program Coordinator for the Mission Housing Development Corporation, a Regional Director for La Raza Centro Legal, and served as an HIV Health Educator at both Mission Neighborhood Health Center and Community Medical Centers. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and completed the Health Care Executive Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
