Dr. Jeff Baxter is a seasoned ministry professional currently serving as the Next Gen Pastor at Mission Hills Church since August 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing and casting vision for various ministry staff teams. In addition, Baxter serves as a volunteer chaplain for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and previously for the Lakewood Police Department, providing support and spiritual guidance to law enforcement. An affiliate professor at Colorado Christian University since July 2021, Baxter teaches theology and communications while mentoring students. With extensive experience leading mission trips, Baxter has facilitated groups to 15 countries and has a background in pastoral roles at River Church and Foothills Bible Church. A published Christian writer with works centered on family ministry and leadership, Baxter holds a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University, and a Bachelor of Education from Hope College. Additionally, Baxter leads annual tours to Israel through Exploring Israel.
