Roshan Kamath has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering, with a particular focus on embedded technology and algorithm development. Roshan started their career as an Engineer at Siemens India Pvt. Ltd. in 1996 before moving on to work as a Visiting Research Student at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, where they conducted research in Theoretical Astrophysics.

Roshan then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where they were involved in research on the development of the System Level Design Language 'Rosetta'. Roshan also served as a Graduate Research Assistant during this time, focusing on authoring and implementing a type-checking algorithm.

Moving into industry roles, Roshan joined Motorola Mobility LLC, specifically the Smart Accessories / Companion Products Division, in 2000 as a Software Engineer. Over the years, they progressed to higher-level positions such as Senior Staff Software Engineer and Advisory (Principal Staff) Software Engineer. In these roles, they developed software for a variety of products, including automotive/navigation systems, phone docks, security/authentication devices, and portable power solutions. Roshan also led software development teams and coordinated inter-group activities across different time zones.

In 2017, Roshan transitioned to Cirrus Logic, where they held various positions including Staff Software Engineer and Manager of Software Engineering. Roshan managed the Austin Algorithm and Tools team for the Amplifiers and Haptics product lines, providing technical leadership and driving the development of audio and haptic algorithms. Roshan also identified technology trends and skills gaps, implementing appropriate training plans and coaching engineers in software engineering practices and methodologies.

Roshan'smost recent role is as the VP of Embedded Technology at Mirador Health Solutions, starting in 2022.

Roshan Kamath obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Bombay (V.E.S.I.T.) in the years 1992 to 1996. Following that, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 1997 and 2002.
