Michelle Marie Teves began their work experience as an OR Aide Intern at Alberta Health Services in 2009. Michelle Marie then worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Turner Lab at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, from 2012 to 2012, where they conducted research projects and published a paper. Michelle Marie also worked as a Line Prep/Cook at The Calgary Stampede from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Stell Lab, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Chef at The Calgary Stampede. Michelle Marie then worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at the University of Alberta: Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine from 2015 to 2017. Michelle Marie returned to The Calgary Stampede in 2018 and worked as a Banquet Chef until 2020. Since 2020, they have been working at MiQ, starting as an Associate Trader and progressing to Programmatic Trader and then Senior Trader.

Michelle Marie Teves completed their secondary education at Father Lacombe High School from 2007 to 2010, receiving a Full International Baccalaureate (IB) and Alberta High School Diploma. Michelle Marie then went on to attend the University of Calgary from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Neuroscience. In September 2016, Michelle also obtained a certification in ReWalk Basic Clinical Training from ReWalk Robotics, Inc.
