Ben Nagelmakers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ben is currently working as a Hardware Engineer at Miovision since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Electrical Engineer at Foresight Analytics from March 2020 to November 2022, and at X-Matik Inc from August 2018 to March 2020. Ben also worked as a Process Engineering Assistant at Colortech Inc. in 2017. In addition, Ben has experience as a Regulatory Researcher and Analyst at Environment and Climate Change Canada in 2015, a Modelling Research Assistant at The University of Waterloo Ecohydrology Group from September to December 2015, a Test Automation Developer at Economical Insurance from December 2014 to May 2015, and a Software Developer at Myostat Motion Control Inc. from May to August 2014. Beginning their career, they worked as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the Corporation of the Town of Newmarket from September 2011 to August 2013.

Ben Nagelmakers attended the University of Waterloo from 2013 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Nanotechnology Engineering.
