Dace Pelse has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dace currently serves as the Senior Legal Counsel (Corporate & Commercial matters) at Mintos since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Legal&Compliance Counsel/Head of Legal at Aldaris, Part of Carlsberg Group from November 2016 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for drafting business contracts, providing legal consultations, and ensuring compliance with Carlsberg group policies and guidelines.

Before joining Aldaris, Dace worked at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia. Dace served as the Director from August 2013 to October 2016, Deputy Director from April 2013 to August 2013, and Legal Adviser from September 2011 to April 2013. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Trainee/Stagiaire at the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work from March 2012 to November 2012.

Earlier in their career, Dace worked as a Junior Legal Adviser at the law firm "Fogels, Vitols & Paipa" from November 2006 to October 2007 and as a Legal Assistant at The Central Bank of Latvia from October 2005 to October 2006.

Dace Pelse started their education in 2003 at Latvijas Universitate, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law. Dace completed this program in 2006. Dace then continued their studies at Latvijas Universitate and obtained a Master's degree in Law between 2006 and 2008. Following this, Dace pursued further education at Lund University from 2008 to 2010, where they completed a Master's degree in European Business Law in English.
