Joaquín Larrea Gubbins is the current Director de Administración y Finanzas at Minsur. Joaquín has also previously held positions at General Electric (GE), Cementos Pacasmayo SAA, and GTM International Machinery. At GE, they were responsible for leading new projects and creating value for the organization. At Cementos Pacasmayo SAA, they were responsible for the Zinc Division and later the International Division Sales. Joaquín's previous position at GTM International Machinery was Senior Relationship Manager at BankBoston Peru.

Joaquín Larrea Gubbins is a Peruvian businessman who has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Universidad de Lima and an executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Joaquín also attended Markham College, a prestigious private school in Peru, for lower and high school.
