Laney Austin is the Manager of Social Strategy & Business Impact for the Minnesota Vikings. Laney has also worked as the Digital Director for Klobuchar For Minnesota, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, and J. Austin & Associates. In these roles, they were responsible for activiting and managing all social media channels, authoring and executing organic and paid content strategy, working with broadcast networks, and scouting locations for optimal production. Prior to these roles, Ms. Austin was a Marketing Communications Specialist for PadillaCRT and Marketing Manager for MSP-C. Laney began their career as a Digital Content Editor for McKesson.
Laney Austin graduated from The Blake School and then attended The College of Wooster, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Political Science. Laney then went on to attend The Ohio State University.
Laney Austin reports to Bryan Harper, VP, Content & Production. They work with Allan Wertheimer - Director, Production Operations, Zach Royse - Senior Manager, Social Media, and William Sheedy - Production Assistant.
