Scott Poppenhagen is an experienced fleet management professional currently serving as the Fleet Manager for Minnesota Valley Transit Authority since July 2023. With a substantial background at the City of Minneapolis spanning nearly nine years, Scott held various positions including Fleet Services Equipment Shop Supervisor, Equipment Repair Coordinator, Vehicle Mechanic, and Automotive Technician. Prior to this, Scott worked as an Emergency Vehicle Technician at HealthEast Medical Transportation and as an Automotive Technician at Rudy Luther Toyota. Scott holds a degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Concordia University-St. Paul, earned between 2016 and 2018, and also completed studies at Dunwoody College of Technology from 1999 to 2001.
