Diane Scully

Adjunct, Field & International Experience at Minnesota State University-Mankato

Diane Scully has an extensive career in art education, currently serving as the NAEF National Art Education Foundation Associate Chair and NAEA Research Commissioner at the National Art Education Association since April 2012, alongside roles as an adjunct instructor at Minnesota State University, Mankato. As MSAA Chairperson of the Operations Committee since May 2013 and a board member of the National Art Education Foundation since March 2013, Diane actively contributes to various art education initiatives. Prior to these roles, Diane was a Visual Art Teacher and District Fine Arts Coordinator at ISD #13 for nearly four decades and held leadership positions within the NAEA from 2004 to 2011. Diane holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting and Drawing from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Fine/Studio Arts and Art Education from Bemidji State University. Additional educational background includes studies at Carleton College, Columbia College Chicago, and Savannah College of Art and Design.
