Nora Pollock is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Counsel for the Minnesota Senate Tax Committee since February 2011, specializing in nonpartisan tax issues including income, estate, sales, and excise taxes. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Contract Attorney at Special Counsel from December 2008 to October 2011, and positions at the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission as a Senior Analyst for Policy and Legislation, as well as a Policy Analyst from August 2001 to July 2004. Nora's early career includes a role as a Research Assistant at The Communitarian Network at The George Washington University from August 1996 to August 1998. Nora Pollock earned a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (2004-2007), a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan - Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy (1998-2000), and a B.A. in Philosophy and Sociology from Colgate University (1992-1996).
