Paul W. Aasen

Paul Aasen has held several notable positions throughout their career. Paul began their work experience as the Advocacy Director at the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy from 2007 to 2010. Following this role, they served as the Commissioner at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency from 2011 to 2012. Paul then joined the City of Minneapolis as the City Coordinator from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Minnesota Safety Council, Inc. since 2014.

Paul Aasen pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the University of Minnesota from 1979 to 1983. Paul subsequently obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Health from the same institution, completing their degree from 1984 to 1985.
