Tara Fugate is an experienced strategic researcher currently serving at the Minnesota Nurses Association since April 2017, with prior experience in a similar role at the Michigan Nurses Association from January 2016 to April 2017. Tara's background includes an internship at the AFL CIO in 2013, where research contributed to strategic unionization efforts. Additional experience includes a counseling position at Camp Howe, Inc. focused on facilitating inclusion for disabled campers, and an internship at the Washtenaw County Worker's Center assisting migrant workers with workplace rights. Tara holds a Master's Degree in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Romance Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan, and an Exchange Certificate in International Relations and Affairs from Sciences Po.
