Sara Lauthen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in family law and child support matters. Currently serving as a Child Support Magistrate at the Minnesota Judicial Branch since August 2021, Sara previously held roles as an Assistant Ramsey County Attorney and Staff Attorney at the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Additional experience includes working at the Self Help Center for the 4th Judicial District, serving as a Special Assistant Ramsey County Attorney, and various positions in legal research and client advocacy. Sara holds a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Iowa.
