Kathleen Heideman

Interim Director Of Online Learning at Minneapolis College of Art and Design

Kathleen Heideman has a diverse work experience encompassing various roles in environmental advocacy and the arts. Kathleen has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition and as President of the Board of Directors for Save the Wild UP, both organizations dedicated to protecting the environment in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Kathleen has also held residencies and artist-in-residence positions at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, National Park Service, Andrews Experimental Forest, National Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Science Museum of Minnesota, and McMurdo Station in Antarctica. In addition to their environmental work, Kathleen has been involved in the education field, having worked as an Interim Director of Online Learning and a Blackboard administrator at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Kathleen Heideman obtained their Master of Arts degree in English from Northern Michigan University from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Art from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
