Robert is currently serving as the Principal at RBS Biotech Consulting, PLLC since 2008, where they specialize in creative and collaborative problem solving at the interface of pharmaceutical science, medicine, and business. In addition, they are the Senior R&D Advisor & Founder at MiNK Therapeutics since 2022.
Furthermore, they hold various advisory and board positions in organizations such as Autobahn Labs, Inc., Samsara BioCapital, Agenus, Protagenic Therapeutics, Taro Pharmaceutical Industries, PolyPid Ltd., Immunogenesis, and Isosceles Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Robert Stein earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology & Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied from 1968 to 1972. Prior to that, they completed high school at Kokomo High School, where they graduated as the Valedictorian and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar with an HS Diploma in 1968. Later on, they pursued their graduate studies at Duke University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physiology & Pharmacology from the Graduate School between 1974 and 1978. In addition, they simultaneously pursued an M.D.-Ph.D. dual degree program at Duke University Medical & Graduate Schools, specializing in Physiology & Pharmacology, from 1972 to 1979.
