Austin Davey

Customer Success Manager EMEA at Minitab

Austin Davey has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Austin started their career in 1995 as a Materials Development Manager at Chesapeake Branded Packaging. From 1999 to 2001, they worked at the University of Leeds as an IMPRESS Project Manager and Teaching Fellow. Austin then joined Sun Chemical as a Technical Sales Support Representative from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they worked at Avery Dennison as a Six Sigma Black Belt from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they started their own consulting business, Austin Davey Consulting, where they provided consulting and training services to various sectors. In 2007, they joined Minitab as an Account Manager, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers. Austin eventually became the Technical Sales Manager EMEIA, where they provided technical sales service and coaching. Currently, they hold the position of Partner Solution Architect at Minitab, where they are responsible for delivering product solutions and providing feedback to enhance and develop products.

Austin Davey has a strong educational background in the field of Colour Chemistry. Austin obtained their PhD in Colour Chemistry from the University of Leeds from 1992 to 1995. Prior to their doctoral studies, Austin earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Colour Chemistry from the University of Leeds from 1989 to 1992.

Before entering university, Austin completed their A-levels in Computer Science, Chemistry, and Physics at Tynemouth Sixth Form College from 1987 to 1989. Austin received their O-levels at John Spence Community High School from 1982 to 1987, although the specific field of study for their O-levels is not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Austin Davey has also obtained certifications in the field of technology and data analytics. In April 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification from Microsoft. In March 2022, they completed the Imperials Business Analytics: From Data to Decisions certification program at the Imperial College Business School.
