Zeina Toukan currently serves as the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, a role held since October 2022. Prior to this position, Zeina held multiple titles at The Royal Hashemite Court, including Director of Economic Policies Directorate and Advisor for Economic Affairs from August 2020 to October 2022. Zeina's experience also includes serving as Executive Director on the Board of Executive Directors at the Islamic Development Bank from January 2018 to September 2020. Zeina's extensive career at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation spanned over two decades, where roles included Secretary General and Director of International Cooperation Department. Zeina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The American University in Cairo and a Master's degree in Development Economics from SOAS University of London.
