Jan Klesla is an experienced professional in the fields of digitization, innovations, and blockchain technology. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Director General for Digitization and Innovations at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and as the National Coordinator for European AI Centres, Jan also holds the position of Director at the Institute for Digital Economy and Co-Founder of Blockchain Republic. As General Secretary of the Board of Directors for INATBA, Jan is actively involved in shaping blockchain policy, having recently co-chaired the Policy Group for the European Blockchain Partnership with the European Commission. Prior roles include serving as an advisor at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and as an economics commentator, columnist, and editor at prominent media outlets such as Lidove noviny and Hospodářské noviny.
