Allison Tenn is a skilled Medical Social Worker at the Ministry of Health Jamaica since 2018, bringing extensive experience in providing counseling and psychosocial support. Previously, Allison worked as a Social Worker at the Peace Management Initiative from October 2012 to July 2018, focusing on interventions for at-risk populations, including teenagers, women, and children affected by violence. Additionally, as a Social Work Supervisor at Ferdie’s House from 2012 to 2017, Allison developed and monitored psychosocial assessments and treatment plans for dually diagnosed and mentally ill clients. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
