Kristel Kaeval is an experienced diplomat and lawyer currently serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia since January 2013. Kristel's prior roles include event coordinator at Maastricht University, where event planning and management were key responsibilities, and trainee/legal assistant at Glimstedt Straus & Partners Law Firm, assisting with legal research and contract reviews. Additional experience includes working as a salesperson at OÜ Hotclass, and providing support at the Estonian Ministry of Justice's International Cooperation Office. Kristel holds a Master of Laws degree in Globalization and Law with a specialization in Human Rights from Maastricht University, a Certificate of Attendance in the US legal system from Columbia Law School, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Tartu.
