Vahe Hovhannisyan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and policy advisory roles. Currently serving as Minister at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia since August 2021, Vahe Hovhannisyan previously held the position of Deputy Minister. Prior experience includes a role as Director's Advisor at the Asian Development Bank from July 2020 to August 2021, and founding Vardeni Guesthouse and ecovillage from April 2016 to July 2021. Furthermore, Vahe Hovhannisyan was an Independent Consultant, Project Lead, and Advisor to the Prime Minister in investment and economic matters, alongside roles in telecommunications and consulting. A Bachelor’s degree in Economics was obtained from Yerevan State University between 1996 and 2000.
